Costa Rica is a land of volcanoes, rain forests, waterfalls, and rivers. While its territory of 19,652 square miles BORDERS both the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean, the country is easily accessible. Costa Rica is a destination with plenty of thrills for the adrenaline junky in you.
White and black sand beaches caress the Costa Rican coastline, providing an ideal setting for activities such as sport fishing, snorkeling, surfing and sun bathing. Jaco Beach is one of the more popular beaches and is located two hours or less from San Jose.
Your adventure starts in San Jose located via the Central Valley to the Rio Pacuare located half way in between San Jose and the beautiful Caribbean Coast town of Puerto Viejo. Next you'll head Northeast to the Sarapiqui Rainforest for ziplining and a boat adventure. We also make arrangements to tour the Poas Volcano and La Paz Waterfalls located less than 35 miles North of San Jose.
